Accommodation
Accommodation has been reserved on behalf of conference delegates at Rydges Hotel South Bank, Novotel South Bank, Ibis Styles and Hyatt Regency Brisbane until Thursday 24 September 2026.
Accommodation can be booked between 28 October – 1 November 2026, and will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and is subject to availability. To secure the conference accommodation rates, bookings should be made online as part of the registration process.
Please notify your request for changes or cancellation directly to the conference organiser. Each accommodation venue has its own cancellation policy, ranging from a one night cancellation fee to 100% cancellation fee depending on the date of cancellation. Please ensure you understand the cancellation policy for the accommodation venue you are booking.
Upon booking accommodation, please indicate your estimated time of arrival. If you wish to check-in before the official check-in time, it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival. Failure to advise your arrival time if arriving after 18:00 may mean that your room will be released and you will be charged a no-show fee.
If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the conference, please specify your requirements in the ‘additional nights required’ field during the accommodation booking process. Availability and rates will be checked with the accommodation venue before your reservation is fully confirmed.
Please note that a valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your room with the hotel. A wide range of credit cards are available for accommodation payment, based on your accommodation venue. Please ensure you are familiar with your hotel’s payment policy (outlined below).

Rydges South Bank

Rydges South Bank is conveniently located beside the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, joined by a walkway. The CBD is an easy 10 minute stroll away. The hotel features 3 restaurants, an outdoor pool and a fitness centre and a bar/lounge, a poolside bar and a coffee shop/café onsite.
Check-in is available from 2.00pm onwards. Check-out is prior to 10.00am.
Rydges Southbank will charge guests a one night deposit approx. 30 days prior to arrival to the credit card they provide upon booking. Full payment for all remaining accommodation must be made on check-in. All incidental charges incurred during your stay must be settled on check-out.
Credit card service fee: The use of a credit card to any portion of payment will incur a surcharge of 1.5% for Visa or Mastercard and a surcharge of 3.5% for Amex, Diners and JCB.

Bookings cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival: No penalty applies
Bookings cancelled between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival: Cancellation fee equal to 1 night for every confirmed booking cancelled will apply
Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival: All rooms cancelled or no shows will be charged at the agreed rate for number of nights cancelled
Valet Car parking is available at a charge of $59.00 per night, per vehicle.

Novotel Brisbane South Bank

Novotel South Bank will charge the full payment of accommodation to the credit card on file 30 days prior to your arrival. All incidental charges incurred during your stay must be settled on check-out.
A credit card transaction fee, currently 1.1%, will be incurred by any credit card payments.
The Hotel requires a security pre-authorization of $100.00 per room from a credit card or a $100.00 cash deposit per room, per night from all guests checking into the hotel. Upon check out, any unused portion of the cash will be refunded to the guest and credit card pre authorizations returned to the credit card (may take up to 5 business days).

Ibis Styles Brisbane

This property is perfect for the budget or student traveller. Located across the river in Brisbane’s CBD, the Ibis Styles offers magnificent views of the Brisbane River and the South Bank cultural district.
Check-in is available from 2.00pm onwards. Check-out is prior to 11.00am.
Ibis Styles will charge a deposit of one (1) night’s accommodation to the credit card on file 30 days prior to your arrival. Full payment for all remaining accommodation must be made on check-in. All incidental charges incurred during your stay must be settled on check-out.
The hotel requires a security pre-authorisation of $50.00 per room from a credit card or a $100.00 cash deposit per room, per night from all guests checking into the hotel. Upon check out, any unused portion of the cash will be refunded to the guest and credit card pre-authorisations returned to the credit card (may take up to five [5] business days).
A credit card transaction fee, currently 1.1%, will be incurred by any credit card payments.

Friday to Sunday: $20.00 per vehicle, per night; with one entry and exit

Check-in is available from 3.00pm onwards. Check-out is prior to 11.00am.
One night deposit will be charged to the delegate’s credit card at 30 days prior to arrival. The final balance of accommodation is to be paid upon check-in. All incidental charges incurred during your stay must be settled upon check-out.
Should you wish to pay by credit card, a surcharge of 1.5% will apply at the time of transaction. The hotel currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Amex.
